Yearout Mechanical, Inc. provided plumbing and HVAC for the original casino and the newly expanded Santa Ana Star Hotel Casino. The gaming facility was expanded to include two live gaming areas, a 36-lane bowling center, a state-of-the-art concert arena, four restaurants, a family arcade, and 10,000 square feet of convention space. Total square footage for the expansion was ~50,000 square feet.

Yearout Mechanical, Inc. did the underground gas utilities, plumbing and HVAC for this facility. The casino areas are served from 10 air handler units capable of providing 100% outside air. The units have heat recovery and indirect evaporative cooling sections to minimize energy use. Air quality sensors located in the casino control the amount of outside air. There was a mechanical room, domestic boilers and sump pumps in the lower basement.
