Yearout Mechanical, Inc. provided design/build and installed plumbing, HVAC and a central utility plant for the 388,000 sq. ft., multi-story 142 room hotel and casino. The facility includes a 5-storytall
glass wall, 750 slot machines, 20 table games, bingo hall, a 24 lane bowling alley, 142 luxury rooms with 8 two room luxury suites, day spa and salon, indoor swimming pool, miniature golf course, fitness center, 19,000 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet rooms and a 12,000 sq. ft. events center. The casino features a state-of-the-art.
~85,000 sq ft. raised-floor plenum smoke mitigation system controlled by a building automation system that monitors and adjusts to the levels of cigarette smoke in order to provide a clean and comfortable gambling environment. A four pipe chilled water system; heat exchanger and snow melt system were all utilized. There are 5 computer room air conditioning (CRAC) units for the surveillance/computer rooms delivering over 110 tons of cooling to those rooms and another 26 air handling units for the casino and hotel. Stand up fan coils were utilized in the guest rooms for optimum individual temperature control. Sky Ute Casino Resort opened to the public 6 months ahead of schedule.
